Nyima Samdup, from Manaslu region, he is a certified trekking guide and experienced trek leader with over a decade in Nepal’s trekking. Since 2012, he has led treks across Manaslu, Tsum Valley, Everest, Annapurna, Mustang, and Langtang. Trained at NATHM and skilled in mountain rescue, wilderness first aid, and adventure leadership, Nyima has also summited Mera Peak (6476m) and Lobuche Peak (6119m). He now aspires to climb Mount Manaslu (8,163 m) from his native region— an achievement that would benefit the community and further strengthen his commitment to promoting sustainable, locally led Himalayan tourism. Currently based in Canada, he is further strengthening his expertise through advanced studies in tourism management from College of Rockies, Canada.
