Pema Norbu was born and raised in Tsum; a pristine Himalayan valley revered in Tibetan Buddhism as the sacred Beyul Kyimulung. With over a decade of experience in trekking tourism, he has dedicated his career to sharing the landscapes, culture, and spirit of Tsum, Manaslu, and Rupina La with the world.

From porter to trek leader, his path reflects resilience, authenticity, and deep respect for nature. With a background in social sciences and research on Himalayan culture and climate, Pema leads treks that go beyond adventure—offering meaningful, responsible travel rooted in local life and lasting connection.
